Home Wi-Fi

Reliable Wi-Fi in every room, and in the garden

We install wired access points where your house needs them, including the attic and the garden, and set up separate networks for your family, your guests and your smart devices.

We reply within two hours.

Every room covered

Your provider's modem usually sits in the basement, the meter cupboard or the hallway. Through concrete floors and thick walls the signal arrives weak upstairs and in the attic. We walk through the house with a measuring device, find where the signal drops, and fit an access point on the ceiling or wall there, connected by a network cable. Where a cable cannot run, we look at a wireless mesh setup.

  • A measurement in every room, before and after the work
  • Wired access points instead of plug-in extenders
  • One Wi-Fi name throughout the house

Wi-Fi in the garden

Want to work on the terrace, take calls in the garden or have Wi-Fi in the garden shed? We fit a weatherproof outdoor access point, ideally on a network cable. How far the signal reaches depends on the walls and the distance. We measure it during the visit.

Three networks: private, guests, smart devices

On one network, every device can reach every other device. We split your Wi-Fi into three separate networks, and the router decides who may talk to whom.

Your provider's modem

decides who may talk to whom

  • Private

The family's laptops, phones and tablets

Reaches your printer and your files

  • Guests

    Your visitors' phones

    Internet only

  • Smart devices

TV, smart speakers, thermostat and smart plugs

Internet only, no access to your laptops

Each network has its own name and password. After the installation we check the separation with a device on the guest network.

Why not just add the provider's boosters?

Providers such as Telenet and Proximus offer boosters or pods you plug in yourself. They are handy and quick to set up. Many of them link to each other over Wi-Fi: each hop shares the same airtime, so the further from the modem, the less is left. Access points you own, linked by cable, do not depend on your provider and make the three separate networks above possible.

Boosters linked over Wi-Fi

  • Plug in yourself, no cables
  • Each wireless hop shares the airtime
  • Usually supplied through your provider

Wired access points

  • A cable to each unit, so each one has its own link
  • Yours, even if you change provider
  • Separate networks for family, guests and smart devices

FAQ

Is mesh Wi-Fi as good as a cable?

Wireless mesh is handy because no cable has to run. With a cable between the units the speed stays more stable, because they do not have to share their airtime. Where the house allows it, we run a cable.

Do I keep my provider's modem?

Yes. We connect everything behind your modem. Your subscription and your provider stay the same.

Can I get Wi-Fi in the garden or the garden shed?

Usually yes, with a weatherproof outdoor access point, ideally on a network cable. How far the signal reaches depends on the walls and the distance. We measure it during the visit.

Why a separate network for smart devices?

Cheap smart devices do not always get updates. If one of them is hacked, it cannot reach your laptops or your files from its own network.

Will my internet get faster?

Coverage and stability improve, in every room. The speed of your subscription stays the same: your provider sets it.
